This is a 1:500 model of a proposed international cricket stadium at Bijoypur, Cumilla, on a 29.8-acre site. The post lists the National Sports Council (NSC) as the project's client. Ridwan Hasan made the 3D model, and PrototypeBD did the 3D printing.
The stadium bowl
The most striking part is the outer shell: a ring of white lattice with diamond-shaped openings, filled with panels that change colour around the bowl, from red and orange to yellow, green, blue and purple. Inside, the stands step down to a striped playing field with a pitch at its centre, and a stand building rises on one side.
The site around it
The model shows the whole site, not just the bowl:
- a second, round practice ground beside the stadium;
- a large car park with marked rows of bays;
- the access road with a turning loop, landscaped patches and floodlight masts;
- a title and the 1:500 scale written on the wooden base.
Painting, assembly and lighting for models like this are available on request.
