Preorder Terms & Conditions

1. What is Preorder?

Preorder allows you to reserve products that are not currently in stock. Your order will be fulfilled according to the estimated delivery date provided at the time of purchase. Preorder items are subject to availability and manufacturers' production schedules.

2. Payment & Cancellation

Full payment is required at the time of preorder. Preorder payments are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed upon by PrototypeBD. Cancellations must be requested within 48 hours of order placement. After 48 hours, cancellation is subject to our discretion and may incur fees.

• Cancellations within 48 hours are processed immediately.
• Cancellations after 48 hours may incur a 10% restocking fee or be denied at our discretion.
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval.

3. Estimated Delivery

Estimated delivery dates are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

• Manufacturing delays or production issues
• Customs clearance and import procedures
• Shipping disruptions or carrier delays
• Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

PrototypeBD will keep you updated on any changes to your delivery timeline via email and SMS.

4. Product Specifications

Product specifications, colors, and features are subject to change without notice. PrototypeBD will inform you of any material changes before shipment. If you do not accept the changes, you may request cancellation within 7 days of notification and receive a full refund.

5. Pricing

Preorder prices may be lower than the final retail price. Once an order is placed, the preorder price is locked in and will not change, even if the price increases before the item ships. Price reductions do not apply to existing preorders.

6. Stock Allocation

Preorders are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the rare event that we cannot fulfill your preorder due to manufacturer stock limitations, we will:

• Offer you a full refund
• Offer the option to wait for the next batch without additional cost
• Provide alternative products of similar value

7. Warranty & Returns

Preordered items are covered by the same warranty and return policy as regular purchases. However:

• Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt
• Items must be in original, unused condition with all packaging intact
• Preorder items with manufacturing defects can be replaced at no cost within 30 days
• Return shipping may be charged for non-defective items

8. Communication

We will communicate all updates regarding your preorder via:

• Email to the address provided at checkout
• SMS to the phone number provided at checkout
• Account dashboard in your PrototypeBD account

It is your responsibility to keep your contact details current. Please check your spam/promotions folder for updates from PrototypeBD.

9. Liability

PrototypeBD is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, shipping carriers, customs authorities, weather, natural disasters, or other third parties beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues, but liability is limited to the preorder price paid.

10. Taxes & Duties

Preorder prices do not include any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees. You are responsible for paying any additional charges required by your country upon delivery.

11. Acceptance

By placing a preorder, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. You cannot place a preorder without accepting these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately for new preorders.
