The Loopy Lamp is a bedside or desk lamp with a sense of humour: a rounded little body sits with its legs stretched out, and the lampshade takes the place of its head.
Two parts, many colour combinations
The lamp is printed as two parts, the body and the conical shade. The body has a hollow neck with small tabs at the top that the shade sits on. Because the parts are separate, colours can be mixed: the photos show an all-green lamp and a yellow body under a white shade.
Both parts have a fine, matte texture over the whole surface instead of plain smooth walls. It hides layer lines and gives the lamp a soft, ceramic-like look in daylight.
Switched on
In the dark the shade glows in its own colour and throws a pool of light onto the desk around the feet, so the lamp works as a soft night light as well as a decoration.
