Completed
ATX power supply bracket and NR200 mATX motherboard mount for a PC build

This order paired two custom PC parts: a bracket for an ATX power supply and a micro-ATX (mATX) motherboard mount for an NR200 case. Both are the kind of part a case maker does not sell, so they were 3D printed.

The PSU bracket

  • A folded frame that wraps around the power supply, with an open base frame and screw holes at the corners;
  • large vented panels with a staggered grid of round holes, so the supply can still draw air;
  • two flat side mounts with cut-outs and small pins, printed separately and fitted to the frame.

Why print PC parts

Small-form-factor builds often need a part that moves a component a few millimetres or fits a different board size. A printed bracket can be drawn around the exact screw pattern and printed in one go. In the photos the hole grid is clean through the whole panel and the base frame is square.
