A concrete batching plant is a hard thing to explain on paper: material arrives in several streams and meets in one mixer. This model, 3D printed and assembled by hand at PrototypeBD, puts the whole layout on one base.
What is on the base
- Three tall cement silos on blue lattice legs, each with a railing ring on top.
- Yellow conveyor tubes that run from the silos up to the mixer platform.
- A white mixer tower with two levels, stairs and handrails.
- A long inclined conveyor rising from a row of aggregate bins.
- A site office with a blue roof and window openings.
Built from parts
Every element is printed separately and assembled on a grey base, so each colour is a real part rather than paint. The thin members, like the lattice bracing, stair stringers and handrails, are where FDM printing is pushed hardest at this size, and they come through cleanly in the photos.
Models like this suit trade shows, sales meetings and training rooms, where a buyer or a new operator needs to see the flow of material at a glance.
