Bajaj Bangladesh Ltd. needed physical bottles to look at and handle. PrototypeBD made the 3D design and printed a batch of them, as the post states.
The design
- two bottle sizes: a taller, wider bottle and a slimmer, shorter one;
- a round body that narrows into a shoulder and a stepped neck with raised rings;
- a flat base so each bottle stands on its own.
A bottle looks simple, but the profile is what people judge: the shoulder curve, the neck height and how the body fits a hand. Drawing it in CAD first means the shape can be changed and re-printed quickly before a production mould is made.
Printed as a batch
The photos show around thirty bottles lined up in rows, all from the same model, so every sample has the same shape. Up close you can see fine, even layer lines on the walls.
