A wearable full-face mask of the Moon Knight character, 3D printed in white. The mask covers the whole face and wraps around the sides, with two narrow eye openings.
The shape
The surface is built from layered, overlapping bands, like strips of cloth wrapped around the head: a raised brow band, bands crossing over the nose and a wrapped chin. Printed in plain white, the light catches the edges of each band, so the mask reads well without paint.
Fit test
The photos follow the mask from the print to wearing it. First it is held up in the workshop, next to the computer and printer it came from. Then it is tried on to check the fit around the face and the line of sight through the eye openings. Finally it is worn with a white hooded suit, which turns it into a full costume look.
A face mask has to match a real head, so it can be scaled before printing. Painting and finishing are available on request.
