The X2D uses two mechanically switched nozzles: a direct-drive main hotend and an auxiliary filament path suited to support interfaces. The main or combined union volume is 256 × 256 × 260 mm; the auxiliary and dual-nozzle overlap are 235.5 × 256 × 256 mm. The 300°C hotend, chamber heating up to 65°C and cooling mode serve different materials. The primary path supports PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PA and PC plus selected fibre-filled filaments; the auxiliary path has its own compatibility and caution list. Toolhead movement and extrusion limits differ; use the material profile rather than treating the peak motion rating as print speed. A 5-inch touchscreen, 1080p live camera, toolhead camera, USB and internal storage work with Bambu Studio and mobile control. Three-stage filtration includes a prefilter, HEPA stage and carbon.
