Select an open-frame machine or a Class I safe-enclosure solution under the same model. Open-frame options are 10W (without air pump), 20W, 40W and 2W 1064 nm. The enclosure solution is listed in 20W and 40W versions.

Smart operation

Enclosed Class I solution

The enclosed configuration adds auto shutoff, laser-light filtering, an efficient ventilation system, a built-in HD camera for auto-positioning, smart lighting and all-round smart control. The manufacturer lists FDA Class I certification for this solution. These enclosure-specific features do not apply to the open-frame machine.

• 10W: 10,000 mW; 0.05 × 0.10 mm laser spot.

• 20W: second-generation COS, 20,000 mW; 0.15 × 0.12 mm spot.

• 40W: second-generation COS, 40,000 mW; 0.175 × 0.15 mm spot.

• 2W 1064 nm: laser spot no larger than 0.04 × 0.05 mm.

Does every Alpha MK2 have the same working area?
